Grammatical inflection “Declension in Arabic”

The term “inflection” generally refers to phonological changes a word undergoes as it is being used in context. in Arabic, it’s a change in the form of a word (typically the ending) to express a grammatical function or attribute such as tense, mood, person, number, case, and gender. In English, some common inflectional categories are:

Arabic adjectives

The most common position for adjectives is after the noun. Adjectives in that position agree with the noun in gender, number, case, and definiteness. Plurals of inanimate nouns are always treated as a feminine singular, which means that they trigger feminine singular agreement on adjectives.  This is demonstrated in the following example:

Arabic Adverbs

An adverb is a word or an expression that modifies a verb, adjective, or another adverb. it is an indefinite noun that comes after a complete sentence to indicate the state of the subject, the object, the accusative noun, or the predicate. We call the subject here “The owner of the adverb”

question words and question formation

Question formation and the use of question words in Arabic are not complex. In general, the interrogative word is placed at the beginning of a sentence.  A written question in Arabic always ends with a question mark: ?

A preposition is a word or group of words used before a noun, pronoun, or noun phrase to show direction, time, place, location, spatial relationships, or to introduce an object. Some examples of prepositions are words like

Pronouns are words that take the place of nouns. We often use them to avoid repeating the nouns that they refer to. Pronouns have different forms for the different ways we use them.  

Sentence structure in Arabic

So far we have learned the characteristics of a single word/ noun, called )ْ الكلمات المفردة We now come to the compounds المركبات. the phrases/ sentences. If two or more words are joined together, they make a phrase or a sentence الجملة (الولد, الذكي} are two mufrad words. But if they are joined as (الولد الذكي} the smart boy then they became a phrase/sentence. The murakkabat are of two kinds مركب ناقص  Phrase or incomplete sentence. ) مركب تام Sentence which conveys a complete sense. The murakkabun naqis المركب الناقص )is further divided into the following four types:
