pronouns الضمائر
Pronouns are words that take the place of nouns. We often use them to avoid repeating the nouns that they refer to. Pronouns have different forms for the different ways we use them.
What are the types of pronouns in Arabic?
We have both subject pronouns and object pronouns:
Let’s start with the subject pronouns “ضمائر الفاعل المنفصلة”

I = أنا “Ana”
We = نحن “Na7nu”
Masculine you = أنتَ “Anta”
Feminine you = أًنتِ “Anty”
Masculine and feminine dual you = أنتما “Atuma”
Masculine dual you = أنتما”Atuma”
Masculine plural you = أنتم “Antum”
feminine plural you = أنتن “Antunna”
He = هو “Huwa”
She = هي “Heya”
Masculine and feminine dual they = هما”Huma”
Masculine plural they = هم”Hum”
Feminine plural they = هن”Hunna”

We are students

object pronouns “الضمائر المتصلة”
They are attached to a verb, We use the object pronouns as Direct Objects:
Me = Ny “ني”
Us = Na “نا”
Masculine you = َك “ka” with tashkil fat7a on the previous letter
Feminine you = ِك “ke” with tashkil kasrah on the previous letter
Masculine and feminine dual you = كما “Kuma”
Masculine dual you = كم “Kum”
feminine plural you = كن “Kunna”
Him = Hu “هُ”
Her = HA “ها”
Masculine and feminine dual them = هما”HuMA”
Masculine plural them = هم”Hum”
Feminine plural they = هن”Hunna”
He call me
هوَ يهاتفني
HuWa YuhATeFuNY
In Arabic we also have
